You sit down for dinner, tensed about work the next day, you surf the internet.
Something happens: you jump off your chair without finishing the food, remove your t-shirt, spin it with one finger and throw it on the floor as though you are the boss and foolishly jog towards your room while you shout: “Mom, we have a lockdown from tomorrow.” It was on social media.
Fast forward nine months now, the lockdown doesn’t seem to get over. The pandemic seems scary. Isolating is hard. Entertainment reduced. Life seems to be stopped.
I won’t try to lie by saying how hard this pandemic was for me just because I have to seem credible. It didn’t even matter to me. First of all, because I’m grateful to God because we all are safe, at least so far.
Secondly, this was my normal life even before the pandemic: I went out only for school. Rest of the time? I was working and studying, enjoying and dancing at home.
Not because I had to, but because I chose to.
