I’m 17. I Wish More People Tried These 17 Things Before Turning 18.

You can start now. 2 years back, I too started now.

The Toothpaste Dude. Silent Killer. Hidden Romeo. The One and Only. Secret Superstar. The Mental. Chief Operating Officer.

I got a lot of titles in my life from others — all because I did something, intentionally or unintentionally.

But, I got to choose my own C-suite position because two years back, I did something just for fun.

15th January was the last day to submit a Germany scholarship application given by our school. I had to submit it. I was out of time and stressed. I asked my friend to share his Scholarship essay for inspiration.

There was one question: “What sets you apart from other applicants?”

“I’m fascinated by Black Hole. People call me Black Hole...”

So interesting but not much fascinating. Something was missing: what did you do that matters worth sharing?

None of my friends are into extracurricular activities apart from what school allows us to: debating, quiz competition, poem recitation, football, cricket, basketball competition — just once a year.
