Which drastically made me a better writer — you can get it too
At our school, parents are given high importance. Their opinion matters, doesn’t matter whether the school considers it or not. They sure consider, but some parents are happy about that and most are not.
It’s normal because when you have 1000 parents and each one of them suggests something (usually different) and finally 15% discount is finalized by the school authority, some are happy because at least 50% of their suggestion were considered— “Give us 75% discount” (I am talking about the 5 in 75 — 7 is 50%, 5 is another 50%). Some aren’t happy because not even 5% of their suggestion was considered — “Please give us a 99% discount.”
We have a suggestion box at our school and parents are requested to drop their opinions when something happens, especially regarding school fees issues, especially during a pandemic of this kind (now we have a digital suggestion box, which is Google Form.) They care so much that they don’t even give options to choose from and tick to, they directly allow parents to open their heart and say out everything.
