Sometimes, it’s a load to take your body safely back home because you’re mentally torn. It’s fascinating to see when you come to a place to learn but return stronger without any physical pain but mentally weaker.
A best leader I know, Philip, was returning to his accommodation after spending the Bastille Day evening on the beach next to Promenade des Anglais watching the fireworks.
He was here for a three-week high-speed startup accelerator program by the European Innovations Academy (EIA).
After a while, he felt uncomfortable walking with thousands of people. But he somehow convinced his friends and changed the side of the road…and his life changed. A 19-tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into the road he changed just five minutes ago.
It was a terror attack.
86 people died. 458 people were injured. But around 3,000 people who witnessed the event couldn’t still forget it. Some of them are children.
Philip’s friends weren’t lucky. They were injured and he lost three of his friends.
